Sandy Hutchens
Sandy Hutchens was a dedicated member of the paralegal profession, and was the first and only paralegal in the province of Ontario to be granted permission to appear before the Divisional Court and the Court of Appeal, representing tenants in landlord/tenant disputes. Over the course of his career, Sandy Hutchens come into contact with the deleterious effects of fraud and scam schemes. Sandy has conducted 3000 landlord and tenant trials, representing both tenants and landlords; and thousands more before the Small Claims Court and Traffic Court. In addition, he has represented women’s shelters and their occupants in urgent family law matters before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Ontario, Canada.
Sandy Hutchens became interested in the truth about scams when a confluence of events occurred that left members of his family in a difficult predicament. In addition to his work, Sandy Hutchens is devoted to giving back to society. The list of charities that he supports (both financially and with his time) include Canadian Cancer Society, MS Society of Canada, Renascent Foundation, SPCA of Ontario, Terry Fox, and hundreds of other charities. Never one to back away from personal involvement, Sandy is well known in the community for his assistance to individuals trying to overcome alcohol and drug addictions. He is often the person who receives emergency calls in the early hours of the morning, when nobody else can help.
Sandy’s hobbies include speed chess, tennis, football, and movies.
